Vant Energy is uniquely positioned to assist in advancing the Africa’s transition to a low-carbon future by providing independent Battery Energy Storage Systems, or BESS.
Project
Vant Wind Farm 01
The project involves the design, development, and commissioning of a wind farm in Lagos State, Nigeria, with a capacity of 100 MW to grid.
The aim to leverage the coastal wind resources of Lagos State to generate clean, renewable energy, contributing to Nigeria’s power grid. The project will include:
- The installation of wind turbines.
- Construction of transmission lines
- integration into the national grid.
Project
Vant BESS 01
The VANT BESS is developed to break down the barriers keeping so many people and communities from joining the climate transformations underway. The Lack of sufficient storage capacity, will allow Africa to be unable to add renewable energy to their grids at the scale needed to reduce emissions and create economic opportunity.
- The VANT BESS Battery Energy Storage Systems is a 225,000kW lithium-ion battery energy storage project to be located in Nigeria. The rated storage capacity of the project is 1,140,000kWh.
